My role

  • Took the company from no web presence to a live site, and owned every decision in between.
  • Made it work as naturally in Arabic as in English — a rebuilt layout, not a translation.
  • Built it to be found, and to hold up as the company's public front door.

A football scoreboard for the wrist. Set the two teams, choose how long the match runs, and kick off. When someone scores, tap their side of the scoreboard — that is the whole interaction.

My role

  • Took it from an idea to a finished product on my own — design, build, and release.
  • Designed it around the one moment that matters: someone scores, and you have three seconds to record it without looking away from the game.
  • Made it dependable in the conditions it is actually used in — outdoors, mid-match, with the watch asleep in your pocket.

Match lengths run every minute from 5 to 30 for five-a-side and short-sided games, plus 45, 60 and 90 for full matches.

A coaching application for iOS, built from the ground up and in active use by members. Clients book sessions, follow training and nutrition plans, and track their progress; coaches manage plans and members from the same app.

My role

  • Owned the product end to end — the design, the app, the backend behind it, and the release.
  • Shipped it to the App Store and keep it running for members who use it every day.
  • Carry it in production, where a mistake is visible to real people and has to be fixed the same day.

A machine learning system that forecasts maize yields across the United States, built to support climate-resilient farming decisions. It brings climate, soil, and production data into one model.

My role

  • Took a research question through to a working model and an honest account of what it could and could not predict.
  • Did the unglamorous half of the work: turning incompatible public datasets into something a model could actually learn from.
  • Judged the result on how well it held up on data it had never seen, not on the best run.

The pipeline was also implemented with parallel computing (OpenMP), to assess how the approach would perform on substantially larger datasets.
